Since 2019, Stefan Dotter has been creating together with acclaimed afghan photographer Farzana Wahidy, UNHCR and the Ethical Fashion Initiative a mentorship program for returnees in Kabul & Herat, Afghanistan. The duo have conducted multiple workshops on the ground and continue to support the students from the distance. The first part of the project will conclude in a series of exhibitions held all around the world in the fall of 2021. More information on this will be available soon.
In 2021, together with the ERE Foundation, Dotter launched a fundraiser to aid the evacuation of his 8 students, which was succesful.
