Shot in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
The less information we have about a country before we enter it for a short period of time, the more intense our experience of cultural exploration will be. When we boarded the plane to Tashkent from New Dehli to do some work for the United Nations, we had no idea what Uzbekistan is going to be like. Nothing showases a culture better than its’ people and a flight on Uzbek airways was a fine taste of the kindness and humbleness of the people I would meet. On valentines day.
Instead of showing how the country looks like, what sense of architecture and urbanism is present we decided to show a portrait of a city through the faces of its’ people.
With special thanks to Josepha Rodriguez and my friend Sean for being a wonderful translator.
